Professor Wang’s research and clinical work focus on prevention, identification, characterization and comprehensive management of cerebral vascular disease. Her area of expertise includes: risk factors of stroke, emotional disorder, cognitive disorder, sleep disorder as well as behavioral disorder post stroke. She is currently a member of Sleep Disorder Group of Chinese Medical Association Neurology Branch, a member of the standing committee of China Science and Technology Industry Association Mental Health Branch, vice chairman of Beijing Neurology Association, chairman of Beijing Neurology Association, neuropsychiatric Branch and associate Editor-in-Chief & Director of Editorial Office of Chinese Journal of Stroke. She is one of the authors of many cerebral vascular disease related guidelines, including Secondary Stroke Prevention Guideline in China. She has authored or co-authored over 100 journal articles and 8 books. She had won 4 national and provincial and ministerial awards.
