The National Brain Tumor Registry of China (NBTRC) was officially launched on January 16-17, 2018. Three years were taken by China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Diseases and 41 hospitals who had leading positions in neurosurgery across China to build NBTRC. NBTRC will gradually include clinical data from 41 hospitals from 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, such as Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, Peking University First Hospital, and Sanbo Brain Hospital, Capital Medical University. In the future, NBTRC will act as the first public professional service platform for clinical researches on brain tumors. Large-scale, multi-center, high-quality researches on outcomes of diagnosis and treatment, as well as researches on standardization of clinical diagnosis and treatment, will be conducted based on the big data of brain tumors.
