On 2nd February, 2018, the academic committee meeting of China National Stroke Registry- III (CNSR3) was held in the new campus of Beijing Tiantan Hospital. CNSR3 research is a large, prospective, cohort study led by Professor Wang Yongjun, from the Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University and China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Disease, supported by the national key research and development program of the Ministry of science and technology and the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. This meeting reunited experts from academic fields to provide academic guidance upon CNSR3, analyze the risk factors of ischemic cerebrovascular disease and its accurate medical decision based on the etiology and pathogenesis and make contributions to the research of cerebrovascular disease in China. Aiming to create a brilliant future.
Huaxiang new campus is fully operational soon. In order to enable the China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Diseases to work effectively with the world's top research team, the National Center held a cerebrovascular disease science summit on February 3rd. Experts from the world’s top research teams communicated with experts from the China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Diseases to discuss cooperation in cerebrovascular disease prevention and treatment. Those international experts includes Tabassome Simon, who is from Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Cardiology of University Hospital of Pierre-Marie Curie (UPMC) at Paris France, neurology professors from Harvard Medical School, neurological intensive care and emergency neurology at Harvard Medical School, the director of neuroscience intensive care and emergency department of Neurology, medical director of Neurosurgical ICU, professor Jonathan Rosand who is Director of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), David Spence who is a professor of Neurology at Roberts Institute in University of Western Ontario, Prof. Wang Xi who is the director of DDC Medical Center Ohio, USA.
