On May 8, 2018, the press conference of CHAIN Cup – The World’s First Competition between Doctors and Artificial Intelligence in Neuroimaging was held at the new site of Beijing Tiantan Hospital. This global contest is jointly organised by the China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Diseases, Advanced Innovation Center for Human Brain. Since May 8, they have been recruiting doctors globally who are committed in diagnosing brain diseases to participate in the competition. Human doctors will compete with the medical Artificial Intelligence machine BioMind^TM. BioMind^TM, developed by Artificial Intelligence Research Centre for Neurological disorders, is a state-of-the-art diagnostic support system that uses deep learning technology to analyse brain MRI and CT images (including brain tumors, small vessel diseases, macrovascular diseases, stroke, etc.). Recruitment of neurologists worldwide for the "Man vs Machine Competition" is to verify the accuracy of artificial intelligence diagnosis. The application of Artificial Intelligence in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and rehabilitation of neurological diseases has incomparable advantages. In the future, it will bring about a "technological revolution" in the field of neurological diseases.
