Cooperation with the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute (NIH/NCI) Clinical proteomic tumor analysis consortium

The team of professor Liwei Zhang, from China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Disease (NCRC-ND), has been working closely with the National Institutes of Health / National Cancer Institute (NIH/NCI) since 2016.
To further transform the discovered finding of the cancer genome/international cancer genome consortium (TCGA/ICGC), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) launched a Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC). Based on the original work of the pilot of CPTAC and the TCGA. Tumor Proteome Study has become an essential task in the next phase of genomic research. By understanding the correlation between Genotypes and phenotypes of the tumors to explain the molecular signaling network in tumor development and disease progression ultimately to obtain the most effective treatment for patients.
